Charter For Don Bosco International Campus<\/h2>

Prelude\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

What is at stake on the \u201cDon Bosco International Campus\u201d label is to strengthen the synergy of our network. This\ndynamics combines a rich variety of Salesian centres which are committed to projects and initiatives. This is a ground\nfor bold teaching ideas as Don Bosco did in his time. This is a response to real national, international or regional needs.<\/p>

Thanks to Salesian network international dimension, we can develop ties with other schools all over the world as to\nenhance a better attractiveness for each school. This synergy is a key element to strengthen closer cooperation\nbetween companies and vocational disciplines.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Eventually, the international status of Don Bosco Campus encourages pooling resources which will allow us to develop\ntangible initiatives with our youth. This is an emergency for \u201can education which will combine environment and\nmankind\u201d (1).<\/p>

Article 1\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

Considering their personal background, each person is welcome and respected within his\/her human dignity. On each\ninternational Don Bosco Campus, an unquestioning welcome will be found. This will promote a vision of confidence\nabout each youngster's capability as well as success in his\/her journey and training.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Article 2\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

Each welcomed person is called to the whole development of his\/her skills, whether in a physical, intellectual,\nspiritual, affective or social dimension. This will be effective in all the stages of his\/her journey. Life skills are at the\nheart of this educational development.<\/p>

Article 3\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

Each person is considered as a responsible actor of his\/her personal development, both partner and recipient of the educational action. An actor in the implementation of his\/her training scheme in the different stages of his\/her development, whatever his\/her age or background.<\/p>

Increasing commitment within Don Bosco International Campus.<\/b><\/h2>

Article 4\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

Salesian centres will encourage actions and projects development in order to ensure young people a better international opening with other Salesian centres within the Don Bosco International Campus at any age or step of their journey. This will concern live or long-distance exchanges, Erasmus+ projects implementation, international solidarity actions, and internships with Salesian global network, meetings for teaching and educational staff.<\/p>

Article 5\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

The national and international Salesian networks will encourage pooling resources in order to improve the development of youngsters and centres. Thanks to training, projects and pathways of success pooling, Don Bosco International Campus will ensure better visibility and dynamic for the vet centres. Besides, developing a shared quality approach will improve networking at regional, national and international levels. All these actions join the Salesian European network strategy which aims to structure international exchanges within the Salesian centres through EU funding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Article 6\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

Don Bosco International Campus approach aims to stimulate Salesian centres to have a common debate on some current major issues and to come up with some solutions. Therefore, Salesian centres could share debates on educational measures and action plans at local, national and international levels as it is encouraged by the Salesian movement Don Bosco Green Alliance and its Citizen Challenge \u201cto create an environment that is safe and caring for all life on the planet while building up a new generation of environmentally committed citizens and leaders\u201d (2).<\/p>

Article 7\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>

Committing to closer collaboration within the Salesian network will lead to a more confident, hopeful and collaborative pedagogy. By enhancing gatherings and pooling meetings with other Salesian centres within the Don Bosco International Campus, Maisons Don Bosco centres will strengthen their collaboration with young people.
